ProjectSpaces is a management application that focuses on the importance of simplicity when working through a project or managing a team. The application allows users to upload, manage and organize their document files. When a user uploads a file, others can access it. ProjectSpaces will also save the previous version of the file in case the user needs to return to it later. Email lists can also be compiled to start discussions or alert relevant individuals of changes or updates. Users can also create task lists and notify their team members using RSS feeds as well as email. ProjectSpaces supplies users with calendars to track events, schedule deadlines and see what is happening in a centralized location. Collaborative tools are also available that allow the user to share online documents and read or post comments to them. Overall ProjectSpaces offers a simple solution for professionals who need to manage projects.

ProjectSpaces was founded in 2001. The company is based out of Alexandria, Virginia and currently consists of over 10 individuals, including Managing Director Joe Pringle, Product Manager Chris von Spiegelfeld and Sales and Support Lead Kyle Keller.

New users can get started by clicking the square, green “30 Day Free Trial” button found along the right hand side of the ProjectSpaces homepage. The registration form requires a first and last name, email address and phone number. The form also includes a large text box that asks users how they discovered ProjectSpaces. The first is the Personal account that allows a single project, up to 25 users, daily data backups and 1 GB of storage for around $30 per month. The Basic membership costs around $50 per month and upgrades to include two projects, unlimited users, 2 GBs of storage space, telephone support, email list features, site administrator module access and access to the My ProjectSpaces dashboard. The Plus membership costs around $80 and includes up to five projects and 5 GBs of storage space. The Premium plan includes up to 10 projects, 10 GBs of storage and SSL security for around $130 per month. The Professional membership costs around $250 per month and includes up to 25 projects, 15 GBs of storage and a custom domain. The Enterprise membership costs around $400 per month and includes up to 100 projects, 25 GBs of storage and a custom color scheme. The Corporate plan includes up to 500 projects and 100 GBs of storage for around $750 per month.

ProjectSpaces is a helpful organizational solution for businesses and professionals. Some might find the cost of membership a little high, however ProjectSpaces provides a number of options to accommodate most businesses and professionals.
